Library materials may be returned outside the main door to the library after regular hours. During regular business hours materials can also be returned to the library’s main circulation desk.
Materials not owned by the library may be obtained through interlibrary loan arrangements with the two medical libraries at Case Western Reserve University, local hospital libraries and the national network of medical school and university libraries, including the National Library of Medicine.
Computer workstations are available for searching the library databases and the internet. Particularly complex or unusual subjects may require a literature search performed by a member of the library's professional staff. Search request forms may be obtained at the main desk or from the Literature Search Request link on the library’s MIV page.
Library orientation programs or tours are conducted by the librarian upon request. Sessions on electronic resources and database tutorials may also be arranged for individuals or groups.
It is the goal of the library's annual report not to put into detail but to bring you up to date on activities in the last year.
