Patients visiting the Cancer Care Pavilion, Specialty Services Pavilion, Women’s & Children’s Pavilion or Rehabilitation Pavilion in the Outpatient Plaza can be dropped off at one of the entrances off Scranton Road.
Please do not park or leave vehicles unattended in these areas.

Masking is optional for patients, visitors and MetroHealth employees.
Due to the vulnerability of patients in the Blood and Marrow Transplant Unit, universal masking remains required upon entry, and masking will remain in effect for any acutely affected COVID patients.
Masks are also highly recommended for those who have respiratory symptoms or have been in close contact with someone with COVID-19.

When patients are ready to go home, we may transfer them to our Discharge Hospitality Center (DHC) on the ground floor of the hospital. As patients wait for their rides, our DHC team can assist with questions about discharge instructions, medications or follow-up care.
If you are picking up a patient from the DHC, please call 216-778-1233 when you arrive. Patients can be picked up at the Emergency Department entrance on Scranton Road. MetroHealth caregivers will assist patients to their transportation.
