The Department of Planning, Design and Construction is responsible for the services of construction for all of the MetroHealth facilities. Construction is accomplished in a manner that is cost effective and in compliance with the laws of the State of Ohio and the policies of MetroHealth.

Notice of Available Contract for General Contracting Services-OBC Parking Garage Limited Repairs Project

Sealed bids for General Contracting work on the OBC - Parking Garage Limited Repairs will be received electronically by The MetroHealth System Planning, Design & Construction department via e-Builder Bid Portal, until 1:00 pm, local time, on Friday, January 9th, 2026, and promptly opened at the same location.

A pre-bid meeting will be held, on the ground floor of the garage, at 10:00 am Thursday, December 11th, 2025, at the at the MetroHealth Old Brooklyn Medical Center, 4229 Pearl Rd, Cleveland, OH 44109.

Each bid submittal must include a Bid Guaranty in the form of a Bid Guaranty & Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid (including all add alternates) or a certified check, cashier’s check or an irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid (including all add alternates), as stated in the Instructions to Bidders. Local prevailing wage rates apply to this project.

No Bidder may withdraw its bid within 60 days after the bid opening. MetroHealth System reserves the right to waive irregularities in bids, to reject any or all bids at its discretion, for any reason or no reason stated, and to conduct such investigation as necessary to determine the best bidder.
