Wheelchairs

Wheelchairs are staged at the three main entrances: MetroHealth Drive/Towers, Scranton Road/ Emergency Department and the Outpatient Plaza.

If you need assistance to an appointment, please go to the closest information/welcome desk and a staff member will contact Patient Transport. Information/welcome desks are located at each of the main entrances. A transporter will come to help you to your appointment. You should request a transporter when you arrive.

Visitor Dining Options

Visitors can enjoy a meal from MetroHealth’s three cafes. If visiting a patient, you can also enjoy a meal delivered through our guest meal program. Please see the Room Service menu in the patient room for details.

MetroEats

Location: Ground Floor of The Glick Center

Weekdays: 6:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Park Side Cafe

Location: First Floor of The Glick Center

Weekdays & Weekends: 6:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Old Brooklyn Cafe

Location: First Floor at Old Brooklyn Campus

Weekdays 7:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Gift Shop

Nurture Gift Shop at MetroHealth Medical Center

MetroHealth partners with Joseph-Beth Retail Collective to operate Nurture Gift Shop, which offers a large selection of gift and everyday items. Nurture surprises and delights with an ever-changing assortment of unique and locally made gifts, seasonal floral arrangements, greeting cards and balloons.

Nurture also offers a selection of infant apparel and plush toys. You’ll also find essentials including over-the-counter items, toiletries, snacks, beverages, and magazines.

Order Over the Phone:

Nurture offers free in-patient delivery for gifts, floral arrangements, and balloons. If you can’t make it to the hospital in person or you’d like a gift ready for in-store pick up, you may place an order by calling 216-778-5388.

Store Hours:

Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Saturday – Sunday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Library

MetroHealth has a branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library (CCPL) located on the first floor, near the Towers Café and Gift Shop. Our location offers a variety of library materials to borrow (or you can return your CCPL borrowed items here) and computers with internet access.

Pharmacy and Prescriptions

Prescription Bedside Delivery: MetroHealth pharmacy will deliver your discharge medication to your bedside prior to your discharge. Ask your caregivers for details.

Our Mail Order Pharmacy also allows you to get your refills mailed to your home with no additional fees.
