Gastroenterology Fellowship

The Gastroenterology Fellowship program is a fully accredited three-year training program with three fellows in each year of training. The fellowship program is dedicated to the training of clinical scholars, educators, and future leaders in the field of gastroenterology.

We offer a diverse clinical experience in general gastroenterology, advanced endoscopy, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), neurogastroenterology and motility, and hepatology. The hallmark of our fellowship program includes the opportunity to work with strong faculty in a variety of disciplines, our diverse patient population, and our commitment to treat the underserved population of Northeast Ohio.

The Division of Gastroenterology/Hepatology at MetroHealth Medical Center is committed to establishing an educational environment for fellows to learn the necessary clinical skills in Gastroenterology/Hepatology. For more information, see Gastroenterology Fellowship on our Graduate Medical Education website.
