Travel medicine expertise you can trust

Over the years, our Travel Clinic has helped thousands of people prepare for trips around the world. Our clinic is led by clinicians with extensive experience and qualifications, including doctors who are board-certified in infectious disease. Our team members also hold certifications from the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, and some conduct infectious disease research around the world in countries such as Egypt, China and Kenya.

Getting vaccines before traveling

Vaccinations offered at our Travel Clinic include:

  • Diphtheria
  • Hepatitis A
  • Hepatitis B
  • Japanese encephalitis
  • MMR
  • Polio
  • Rabies
  • Tetanus
  • Typhoid
  • Yellow fever

At your appointment, we will discuss your destination and other important details of your journey. This discussion will help you understand the dangers of getting an infectious disease overseas and which medications and vaccines will be right for you. You may need to guard against insect-borne diseases such as Zika, or you may need to receive medications that can help prevent malaria.

If your itinerary includes climbing, hiking or other high-altitude adventures, you may want to ask about medication to prevent acute mountain sickness. A prescription for anti-diarrheal medication can also be obtained.
