Home Delivery Saves You a Stop

Managing Your Prescriptions

MetroHealth Pharmacy offers home delivery at no additional cost to you— as soon as same day for urgent needs. If you use a maintenance medication, our home delivery service may be less costly and more convenient. Prescriptions are shipped right to your home.

Orders that require faster service, as well as urgent or emergency orders, should call 216-957-6337 to speak directly with a pharmacy representative.

Get Started with Home Delivery

New Prescriptions

  • Ask your healthcare provider to send 90-day prescriptions to the MetroHealth Valley View Specialty/Home Delivery facility.
  • Then call 216-957-6337, option 4, to initiate your order.

Switching Prescriptions

  • Call 216-957-6337, option 4, to request an existing prescription to be moved to the home delivery service. Our staff will manage any additional prescription requests, if needed, from your provider or outside pharmacy.

Once the pharmacy receives your order, your prescriptions will arrive within 7–10 business days.**.

** The MetroHealth Home Delivery Pharmacy is licensed to operate and ship packages to MetroHealth patients only within the state of Ohio.

How to check on status of order or order delays?

Track the status of your order by using the MyChart app or website. If you don’t have MyChart, call 216-957-MEDS and select the mail order pharmacy (option 4) or the specialty pharmacy (option 3). A pharmacy staff member will give you a status update.

Meds to Beds

MetroHealth saves you a stop during your hospital stay, with our Bedside Medication Delivery service. MetroHealth pharmacy will deliver your discharge medication to your bedside prior to your discharge. Ask your caregivers for details.
