Since 1837, MetroHealth has welcomed and provided care for every individual who needed it, regardless of their ability to pay. Our mission alone makes equitable health access possible for all in greater Cleveland. 

But it’s nowhere near enough. Disparities among communities are in many ways more pronounced now than at any point in our city’s history. 

Health equity is already MetroHealth’s past and present.

With your support, the Health Equity CLE Fund will take us into the future.

Through the Health Equity CLE Fund, you can help us enhance our current programs and build new systems for community access and engagement.

The Health Equity CLE Fund will provide resources to targeted initiatives that eradicate health disparities and improve the health and wealth of all patients and communities.

Through innovative methods made possible by the Health Equity CLE Fund, we can make sure we consistently:

• Recruit more of the right people to serve the MetroHealth mission,
• Provide culturally responsive clinical care at every opportunity,
• Dedicate appropriate training resources to tomorrow’s providers,
• Show up in our communities equipped to listen and follow their lead,
• Pursue advocacy initiatives with unwavering tenacity, and ultimately:
• Eliminate obstacles to care and provide paths to opportunity so every person has the resources they need to live their healthiest life.

With the support of the Health Equity CLE Fund, we can reinforce our approach to healthcare that focuses on each individual patient and what they need, while continuing to offer MetroHealth’s groundbreaking programs.

We know achieving health equity is an audacious goal. It will require time, trust and steadfast dedication. And it must start now.
