Chipping In for Change: MetroHealth Foundation Joins Chip in Fore Charity Program with Strong Results

In 2025, The MetroHealth Foundation participated in the Kaulig Companies Championship Chip In Fore Charity presented by Fastenal Company – a fundraising initiative designed to support Northeast Ohio nonprofits through golf and generosity. The program ran from January 13 through June 22, offering eligible organizations the opportunity to receive a 10 percent bonus on each donation received, up to $10,000. 

The MetroHealth Foundation’s strong support early in the year from its donor community helped it quickly exceed the $10,000 threshold required to unlock the matching gift. Early support played a pivotal role in maximizing the impact of the program. Every contribution helped fuel MetroHealth’s mission to improve health outcomes and expand access to care across the region.
