- ATLS 1.5-Day Hybrid Course
The Advanced Trauma Life Support® (ATLS®) program was developed by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Committee on Trauma (COT) and provides a systematic, concise approach to the care of a trauma patient. The course teaches you how to assess a patient’s condition rapidly and accurately, resuscitate and stabilize the patient, and determine if the patient’s needs exceed a facility’s capabilities.
ATLS® is applicable in both large urban trauma centers and small rural emergency departments. The course is intended for attending physicians, fellows, residents, and advanced practice providers, however RNs and pre-hospital providers may audit the course.
