- Dementia, e.g., Alzheimer’s Disease
- Multiple sclerosis and other demyelinating disorders
- Epilepsy/seizures, including management of epilepsy in pregnancy and pregnancy planning
- Headache disorders including migraines, trigeminal neuralgia, intracranial hypertension or hypotension
- Movement disorders , e.g., Parkinson’s Disease, essential tremor
- Muscle, nerve, and neuromuscular junction diseases, e.g., peripheral neuropathy, myasthenia gravis, muscular dystrophy, Lou Gherig disease (amyotropic lateral sclerosis, ALS)
- Stroke and neurovascular conditions including ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke, transient ischemic attacks

MetroHealth (formerly the Cleveland Metropolitan General Hospital) has an illustrious clinical neuroscience history spanning more than a half century and featuring legendary figures like Maurice Victor, MD (neurology), Betty Banker, MD (neuropathology), and Robert White, MD, PhD (neurosurgery). Dr. Victor was the founding director of the Department of Neurology.
