More Cancer Services. All in One Place.
Our Cancer Center was created to make cancer care easier, more comfortable, and all in one place. You can find many services in the same building, so you don’t have to travel to different locations for your care. It brings together advanced technology, more space, and a team‑based approach to care. Our goal is to improve access, enhance comfort, and provide high‑quality cancer treatment for the communities we serve.
- Ground Floor: Radiation Oncology and the Breast Health Center
- First Floor: Medical Oncology, infusion (treatment) services, and clinics where different cancer specialists work together
We are committed to making high‑quality cancer treatment easier to access. By bringing care teams together, patients can get coordinated, team‑based care without extra trips or delays.
The Cancer Center has more exam rooms, treatment rooms, and infusion bays than before. This helps shorten wait times and improves the overall patient experience. There are also private rooms for sensitive conversations and special procedure rooms designed for comfort and safety.
Our center uses advanced technology to provide high‑quality cancer treatment close to home. We also work with Nuclear Medicine to offer new treatments called theranostics, including Lutetium‑based therapy. These treatments use imaging to find cancer cells and then deliver radiation directly to them, helping protect healthy tissue.
Breast Health Center: The Latest Technologies in a State of the Art Facility
The Breast Health Center, found on the ground floor, focuses on breast imaging, diagnosis, and care for people with breast cancer or those at higher risk. We guide patients from their first screening through diagnosis and, if needed, treatment.
We offer many breast imaging services, including:
- Screening mammograms
- Automated breast ultrasound (ABUS)
- Diagnostic mammograms and ultrasounds
- Breast biopsies done with ultrasound or stereotactic guidance
- Localization procedures
Most patients can get their imaging and biopsy in the same place, which helps reduce stress and waiting.

If a screening mammogram shows something unusual, you can get follow‑up imaging and a biopsy right here. Our radiologists and nurse navigators help explain results, answer questions, and support you through each step.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women. About 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will develop it in their lifetime. Because age and being female are the biggest risk factors, regular screening is very important. Mammograms can find cancer early, often before it can be felt, which leads to better outcomes.
Our Mammography Suite is designed to be private and comfortable. It provides high‑quality images that help detect tumors, masses, and calcifications. Private exam and consult rooms give patients a safe space for education and care planning.
Our team includes skilled technologists, radiologists, and nurses who specialize in breast health and are dedicated to compassionate, patient‑centered care.
At our W. 150th location, services focus on screening and advanced imaging, including screening mammograms, breast MRI, and MRI‑guided breast biopsy.
Radiation Oncology Accredited Services in a Convenient Space
Radiation Oncology, found on the ground floor, provides advanced cancer treatment using highly targeted radiation. The department is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR).
A CT Simulator (CT Sim) helps create detailed images for treatment planning. This allows the care team to map out exactly where radiation should go, protecting healthy tissue.
Treatment is delivered using TrueBeam linear accelerators, which can adjust for natural body movement, like breathing. These machines support many types of radiation therapy, including treatments delivered inside or near the tumor.
There are three treatment vaults:
- Two for TrueBeam external radiation
- One for high dose‑rate (HDR) brachytherapy, which places radiation inside the body. This room is designed for procedures done under anesthesia, helping more patients receive safe and comfortable care.
Medical Oncology & Multidisciplinary Clinics
Medical Oncology, found on the first floor, provides cancer care using medicines such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy.
The number of exam rooms has grown from 9 to 24, allowing patients to see several specialists in one visit. This team‑based approach helps reduce the number of appointments and speeds up the creation of personalized treatment plans.
Infusion Services
Infusion Services, found on the first floor, provide treatments such as:
- Chemotherapy
- Immunotherapy
- Other IV (intravenous) therapies
We now have 29 infusion bays, up from 24, which helps reduce wait times. The space is designed to be calm and comfortable for patients who may be receiving longer treatments.
