Established since 2013, the Trauma Recovery Center, or TRC, is a center within Institute for H.O.P.E.™ and is a model of care that prioritizes comprehensive healing for survivors of trauma to assist in recovery and rebuilding their lives. The MetroHealth Trauma Recovery Center is affiliated with the National Alliance of Trauma Recovery Centers and is the only TRC embedded within a hospital system in Northeast Ohio.
Mission
To strengthen communities by building healthy and lasting connections through advocacy, access, and education.
MetroHealth Trauma Recovery Center provides help to patients and families who need it. Services are free, and there's no enrollment process.
If you've suffered a traumatic injury, we'll reach out to you during your inpatient stay. If you're a community member who wasn't treated at MetroHealth, contact us and we'll link you to the right resources and services.
