Our new Outpatient Health Center is now open!

Feeling nervous about your pregnancy?
Not sure what to expect?

Centering Pregnancy is a special group for pregnant women that includes more time and attention in a group setting. You’ll meet with your provider and other women, who are due near the same time as you, for 10 sessions during your pregnancy.

1. What Is Centering Pregnancy?

Centering Pregnancy is a different way to receive prenatal care. You'll have your prenatal checkup and spend time learning, talking, and connecting with other moms who are pregnant around the same time.

2. Do I see a Healthcare Provider?

Yes! You still receive your prenatal care and have time to talk with your provider about your pregnancy, your health, and your baby.

3. Will I Be in a Group?

Yes! You'll meet with a small group of pregnant patients who are around the same stage of pregnancy. It's an opportunity to share experiences, ask questions, learn together, and build connections.

4. What Do We Talk About?

We discuss topics that matter during pregnancy and beyond, such as pregnancy and baby development, nutrition, healthy habits, labor and birth, breastfeeding, preparing for your baby, postpartum care, and any questions or concerns you may have.

5. Is It Just Sitting Around Talking?

Not at all! We make learning fun with activities, games, group discussions, and hands-on learning experiences.

6. Do I Get Anything for Participating?

Depending on the session, participants may receive snacks, baby and mom giveaways, and transportation assistance through Lyft.

7. Why Should I Join?

Because prenatal care can be about more than just a quick appointment. Centering Pregnancy gives you more time to ask questions, learn from healthcare professionals, connect with other moms, and feel supported throughout your pregnancy.
