We provide quick and effective emergent medical care to all patrons and staff of special events within Northeast Ohio. Our goal is to keep your event attendees at the event if appropriate to do so. This helps keep the local emergency rooms and emergency medical services available for their communities.

Typical Types of Care

We not only provide medical care for emergencies, but we also offer care for minor needs such as:

headaches
scrapes
sunburns
lacerations
blisters

We typically do not perform health screenings such as BP checks, blood glucose checks, etc., but please contact our office for more information to schedule these offerings.

Experience You Can Trust

Our staff is made up of:

Paramedics from our Emergency Rooms (ED) and Metro Life Flight.
Nurses from the EDs, Intensive Care Units (ICU), and Metro Life Flight.
We can also staff the event with Emergency Physicians, Physician Assistants(PA) or Nurse Practitioners(NP) from the EDs which provides the highest level of care.

Comprehensive Event Medicine Services

Basic First Aid Crews set up in a tent with an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
Advanced Life Support (ALS) crews set up in a tent or our mobile unit with an emergency room Physician or Nurse Practitioner either on site or available by phone.
Bicycle Medicine crews that are basic first aid with an AED that patrols the venue for quick response.

Public Safety Collaboration

We collaborate and coordinate with the local 911 system, fire departments and EMS services for pre-event planning, mass casualty planning, and event entrance/egress for transport. Municipal Fire/EMS departments assist and transport patients to the hospital as needed.

The MetroHealth Event Medicine Team provides medical care at a variety of different events in Northeast Ohio with a staff of experienced Emergency Room Nurses and Paramedics as well as experienced ICU Nurses and Metro Life Flight Critical Care staff.
