MetroHealth Eligibility Requirements
Eligibility requirements for The MetroHealth Occupational Therapy Hand Therapy Fellowship Program are as follows:
- Graduate of an occupational therapy educational program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) and the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
- Licensed occupational therapy provider by the Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Athletic Trainers Board.
- Certified Occupational Therapy provider with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Completed one year of post-secondary work experience as a licensed occupational therapy provider.
- Maintains membership with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) prior to and throughout the fellowship program.
- Must be able to travel to multiple locations where occupational therapy services are provided.
- Possess current BLS certification prior to and throughout fellowship program.
- Obtains influenza shot required which is required annually per MetroHealth employment policy.
- Interacts effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
