I’m a board-certified OB/GYN and Assistant Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. I’ve been part of the MetroHealth family since 1991, and I’ve spent my career caring for women through every stage of life.

Growing up, I watched my mother—a lifelong teacher—build deep relationships with families in our community. Her love for people and passion for teaching inspired me to follow a similar path, even though she gently nudged me away from the classroom. In medicine, I found my own way to connect, teach, and support others.

During my training, I discovered that caring for women felt like home. It’s where I belong, and I hope my patients feel the same way. My goal is to provide compassionate, thoughtful care that empowers and respects every individual I meet.

I like Dr. Hendryx and I would recommend her to anybody that likes no fluff. She's very direct. She's just going to let you know what it is, like it is, how it is, and be very direct about it. There's no mincing words. There's no, as I stated, fluff about it, and I really think that that's a great thing. I really wish that more doctors were as direct as she is. I don't know if it's because of our comfort level that we have that rapport, but I really value her character and how she relays things and lets me know where I need to be taking better care of things and how things are and that's just it.

Dr. Hendryx is a wonderful doctor. Not only is she up to speed on her own specialty, she can easily explain other care I'm receiving. She is smart, thorough and quite funny, too! I highly recommend her!

I have been seeing her for over 30 years. She is kind and funny and makes you feel very comfortable in what could be a very awkward appointment. We chit chat and before you know it, the exam is over. She listens and answers all my questions. Love Dr. Hendryx!
