Dr. Marc Winkelman was born in Detroit, MI. He received his BA from Amherst College and MD from the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

He completed his Neurology Residency at Case Western Reserve University (MetroHealth Medical Ctr) and Neuropathology Fellowship at Harvard Medical School.

He returned to the MetroHealth Department of Neurology after completing his training in 1983. His clinical interests are general neurology and neuromuscular diseases

He is professional, personable, kind, and efficient. He takes the time to listen and he is excellent at explaining your condition and how to improve your health. I would highly recommend Dr. Winkleman.

Dr. Winkelman is the best. I've been going to him for years. He's smart. He tells the patient in detail what they need to know. He's a lovely person. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Dr. Winkelman is compassionate and really listens to your concerns. He is thorough and makes the time to discuss treatment options and come up with a plan together. I have been a patient of his for over 30 years. There was only one time he was running a little late and he came out the door himself to let me know. I haven't experienced that with any other doctors.
