About Me
I’m a gastroenterologist specializing in advanced and therapeutic endoscopy. I serve as the Director of Advanced Endoscopy and Chief of Endoscopy at The MetroHealth System, where I focus on diagnosing and treating complex gastrointestinal conditions using the least invasive methods possible.
I trained at MetroHealth Medical Center and pursued advanced training in interventional endoscopy, including procedures like endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and ERCP. These techniques allow me to care for patients with conditions affecting the esophagus, stomach, pancreas, bile ducts, gallbladder, colon, and rectum—often helping them avoid surgery.
One of my areas of expertise is endoscopic full thickness resection (eFTR), a cutting-edge approach to removing difficult lesions that once required surgical intervention. I’m proud to be among the most experienced physicians globally performing this procedure.
Beyond clinical care, I’m passionate about innovation, education, and improving outcomes for patients with GI cancers and other serious conditions. I also enjoy teaching and mentoring, and I find joy in sharing knowledge with the next generation of physicians.
Outside of medicine, I’m an avid traveler and a lifelong violinist. Originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, I now call Cleveland home. I’m currently accepting new patients, including those seeking second opinions, and I’m committed to delivering thoughtful, expert care that evolves with each patient’s needs.
