The MetroHealth Office of Opioid Safety has been on the forefront of The Opioid Crisis, implementing innovative programs across the region while providing expertise and opportunities for research. Current research topics include:
- Evaluation of a novel emergency department-based peer support program for patients at high risk for opioid overdose
- Targeted temeperature management after cardiac arrest from overdose
