About Me
Dr. Nayak’s interests in clinical informatics lie at the intersection of clinical epidemiology, implementation science, and quality improvement. With a background in internal medicine and preventive medicine, he is particularly focused on using informatics tools to identify, implement, and improve best practices in healthcare delivery. He is interested in exploring the use of Bayesian methods, machine learning, and AI—not as ends in themselves, but as practical tools to support decision-making and system-level improvements. Prior to fellowship, he contributed to the development of an AI Certification Course for the American College of Preventive Medicine. At MetroHealth, he looks forward to applying informatics to support evidence-based care, streamline workflows, and improve patient outcomes.
