I have been practicing Ophthalmology for over 30 years, and I still find it just as rewarding as when I first started.

There are so many things that I love about my specialty. This particular field of medicine allows me to use both medical and surgical treatments for my patients. In addition, I enjoy using all of the high-tech diagnostic and therapeutic equipment that we utilize every day. Most people feel that sight is their most precious sense, and it is extremely gratifying knowing that I have saved or recovered someone's vision.

The field of Ophthalmology is continuously changing and advancing, and I now do so many things that weren't even possible when I began practicing. I also cherish all of the long-term relationships that I have built with so many of my patients throughout the years.

Well, Dr. Steward is very polite. He's very understanding. He talks with me and my husband, especially about my level of care. Would I refer him? I most certainly would. I would to anyone. I left Cleveland Clinic, ICO, to come to Metro, and I have a decent doctor who understands me, who in a way, not in a way, at all. He doesn't be level. He's very understanding. He's an excellent doctor all the way around. Yes, 100% I would refer him to anyone who needed, you know, who I had problems like me.
