Dr. Marc Winkelman was born in Detroit, MI. He received his BA from Amherst College and MD from the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

He completed his Neurology Residency at Case Western Reserve University (MetroHealth Medical Ctr) and Neuropathology Fellowship at Harvard Medical School.

He returned to the MetroHealth Department of Neurology after completing his training in 1983. His clinical interests are general neurology and neuromuscular diseases

He is a wonderful doctor!!

I've already been telling people and coworkers. After my car accident and thinking everything was fine..when i finally got the mri and the neuro appointment, Winkelman was quick to order everything i needed. I was incredibly fortunate and immensely grateful for the extra effort put in to make sure i got what i needed. I know he has hundreds of patients he cares for, but each visit always feels personal. He takes his time, asks questions in different ways if needed.
