He was very patient with my concerns and took them seriously. He took his time to investigate answers to each of my questions instead of dismissing them or trying to wedge me into a status quo solution. As a medically complex patient with a lot of medical trauma, I cannot overstate what a difference this makes. Sometimes we as patients have to be told no, but what makes that traumatic is when a provider does not even take the time to verify the details. Kristopher double checked what he thought he knew about possible risks and benefits, and was able to send me on my way without any concerns that I could have done more to improve my long term outcomes. Even if I do end up with lingering issues from this infection, one of them definitely wont be the medical trauma of wondering how different my life might have been if only I could have gotten a provider to actively work with me. I had multiple virtual visits with Cleveland Clinic before coming to Metro Urgent Care, and CCF made me feel like I was wasting their time with my stupid stupid health. Kristopher actually seemed excited at the opportunity to review some research he hadnt seen before, and find some answers. He ethically denied being able to offer certain treatments due to their risks, but was open to safer alternatives. I am able to rest easy through the rest of my illness knowing a provider took the time to try and help. Being on house rest gives the mind a lot of time to wander, and Im just so grateful to have had the wonderful human experience I did at Metro Urgent Care. I'd tell anyone thinking of going to this location to hope they get Kristopher! Ive seen a lot of providers since becoming chronically ill 10yrs ago, so this is all very experienced praise. I hope Metro will make it worth his while to stick around. I really appreciate knowing he is a part of our community in Westpark.
