About Me
I became a pediatrician because I love caring for children and helping families give their kids the healthiest start possible. I believe that the earliest years of life are the most powerful opportunity to shape lifelong health and that the habits we build in childhood-good nutrition, staying active, getting good sleep and managing stress can shape health and well being for a lifetime.
Because I believe so strongly in the power of these healthy habits, I pursued additional certification in lifestyle medicine. This training allows me to guide families using evidence based prevention and treatment strategies that focus on lifestyle changes.
I am an avid reader and I have a special interest in early childhood literacy-encouraging reading from a young age nurtures curiosity, strengthens family connections and supports school readiness-which in turn builds confidence.
My goal is to support families in helping children build the habits and confidence they need to grow into healthy thriving adults.
