That they treat you with kindness and respect

They listened. This is one of the reasons why I haven't been more diligent about self-care. I haven't always felt like medical providers listen to what I'm telling them. I've often felt like I was being rushed through. But this time, at this facility, with this wonderful staff, every single person I encountered was exceptionally kind. They listened (not that I had anything of great interest to say lol) and they gave me a plan to move forward.

Heather De La Pena, it's like she knows what I'm thinking before I say it. She's very concerned about my health care needs and what's going on with me. She knows how to go about it properly. And she's the only healthcare provider I've ever seen that actually does that, I'm being dead honest. And I'm very thankful for that. And thank you, Heather De La Pena.
