About Me
I am a board-certified neurologist specializing in headache and facial pain. I care for patients with conditions ranging from migraine and cluster headache to trigeminal neuralgia, facial pain, and other complex or difficult-to-treat headache disorders. I understand how disruptive these conditions can be, and I enjoy working with patients to understand their symptoms and find an approach that fits their individual needs.
I completed my neurology residency at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and my fellowship in Headache and Facial Pain at Cleveland Clinic. My training includes both medical and procedural treatments, including Botox for chronic migraine, peripheral nerve blocks, and trigger point injections.
My approach to headache care is comprehensive and grounded in my osteopathic training. In addition to medications and procedures when appropriate, I believe that nutrition, hydration, restorative sleep, regular exercise, and other healthy routines are important foundations for managing headache and supporting overall well-being.
I try to understand the whole person—not just the headache—and incorporate these principles into an individualized, evidence-based treatment plan.
Above all, I believe good care starts with listening. I want my patients to understand their diagnosis, feel involved in decisions about their treatment, and leave each visit with a clear plan. My goal is to reduce the burden of headache and pain so patients can spend more time doing the things that matter most to them.
My research interests include improving the diagnosis and treatment of headache and facial pain disorders, with a particular interest in migraine, novel and emerging therapies, procedural treatments, and lifestyle factors that influence headache.
I am also interested in improving access to specialized headache care and developing more effective, patient-centered models of treatment.
