David Kuentz, DO, MBA is a primary care med-peds physician. He is a graduate of the MetroHealth med-peds residency program. He is an important business driver of MetroHealth’s population health institute. He trains residents in the business aspects of medicine and remains passionate “about the numbers,” specially, the total reduction in health care delivery costs associated with embracing a population health module. He supports resident education through training modules on payor reimbursement, contract negotiation and productivity metrics. Outside of medicine, he interests include downhill skiing and spending time with his children.
