She was very easy to talk to and very patient. I had the flu when I came in and I didn't actually come for myself. I came for my son, but she was able to like hear me and hear what we had been through to get him a proper diagnosis. And then as well as to get myself some good treatment, she worked that out for me too, which was really nice. Like I said, I had the flu and I had to drag us both in there and it was horrible, but she was the most patient. I would 10 out of 10 recommend Dr. Haase.

My PCP is a nice woman, but there are some big gaps. I'm fortunate to have good health, so I've only had to see her a few times for disparate reasons over the past several years. But each time, while she listens to me somewhat, she doesn't do much more than set up a barrage of tests - with no thought about out-of-pocket expense, incidentally, which is no small issue considering our country's healthcare system and unfortunate insurance set up. And she has never followed up via My Chart after any results have come back. I don't even know if she sees them. As a comparison, my GYN (also at Metro) sends me a quick MyChart message after any test, even if it's only to say that things look good. With my PCP, Dr. Haase, I feel like she hears a few buzz words when I'm speaking to her, orders tests or refers me to a specialist, and then doesn't follow up with me at all. One of my recent tests came back out-of-range, and I've heard nothing from her. I don't know if she's even seen it. I'm left wondering if she's seen the results and doesn't think I need to pursue anything further, or if she just hasn't seen it. I don't feel like my health is really being looked after. I likely will be leaving Metro after using them for almost all my life, and looking for a new PCP at UH.
