Supporting an endowment is an excellent way of providing for the present, while also creating substantial funding for the future. An endowment’s principal is preserved and the investment earnings are available annually to support a specific MetroHealth program or initiative. When you establish an endowment, you create a permanent legacy of support for MetroHealth and its mission. There are a number of ways that you can establish an endowment including:
Endowed Professorships or Chairs
Provide an annual source of income enabling the holder to pursue innovative programs and initiatives in medical education and research. Endowed professorships are a collaborative effort between MetroHealth and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
Endowed Fellowships
Provides an annual source of income to support the recruitment and retention of faculty who have the potential to be exceptional researchers or clinicians.
Endowed Lectureships
Provides an annual source of income to support the expenses associated with bringing a visiting lecturer to MetroHealth.
Endowed Fund
Provides annual source of income to support patient care, education and research.
