Program Goal

To increase the knowledge of medical providers and students in latest basic and clinical science of rheumatic disease and its therapies.

Learning objectives

  1. To recognize and describe workup and treatment for acquired systemic and organ-specific diseases.
  2. To formulate therapeutic approaches to rheumatic disease while accounting gender differences and reproductive health issues.
  3. To incorporate new knowledge when treating rheumatic diseases.

CAR-T and MSC therapies, Macrophage activation syndrome, as well as recent updates in treatment of lupus, inflammatory eye conditions and reproductive health for the practicing rheumatologist and long-covid treatment.
