Contracting and Industry Budgeting

To provide comprehensive support to our researchers throughout the clinical trials process, Research Administration works closely with each study team.  This includes working with study teams prior to agreement execution to develop compliant and fiscally appropriate study budgets.  For each study, a detailed cost-analysis is performed, including critical analysis of patient care costs, prior to contract negotiation. 

In collaboration with the institution’s Office of General Counsel, Research Administration’s role also includes the review, negotiation and finalization of various research related agreements, such as:

• Confidentiality/Nondisclosure Agreements
• Pre-Study Agreements
• Clinical Trial Agreements
• Data Use Agreements 
• Material Transfer Agreements
