Tobacco use remains high among populations with low income. Most people who smoke want to quit and try to quit but have limited success without using evidence-based treatment. CONNECT-Pantries aims to increase the reach and impact of tobacco cessation treatment by implementing tobacco cessation treatment in food pantries. The presentation will discuss the process of co-designing the intervention with food pantry stakeholders, and plans and considerations for real-world implementation through a pragmatic cluster randomized controlled trial.

Jin Kim-Mozeleski is a social and behavioral scientist who leads research to address tobacco-related health disparities, with a special interest in the intersection between tobacco use and social needs as well as community-based interventions to address tobacco use disparities.
