Dr. Patil’s work focuses on chronic disease management, particularly hypertension care, recognizing that effective hypertension management involves more than medical treatment alone. It includes the day-to-day work of treatment and lifestyle change, emotional management, and maintaining meaningful roles in family and work. Grounded in evidence-based medicine and implementation research, this presentation will explore hypertension decision-making in real-world practice, highlighting the role of accurate measurement, patient context, and shared decision-making in guiding more effective care.
