Reducing Back Pain

Approximately 80% of adults in the U.S. will experience low back pain. Fortunately, most cases of low back pain resolve. However, 20% of the people develop chronic low back pain with persistent pain and decreased quality life. Additionally, chronic low back pain the most common cause of disability. The purpose of this research program is to investigate technologies and therapies to improve pain and function in chronic low back pain patients.
