About Me

Joined MetroHealth: 2018
Academic Affiliations: Associate Professor, Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine

I’m a rehabilitation physician at MetroHealth. I was drawn to medicine because I wanted to help people recover from injuries, but during residency, I discovered my true passion: supporting patients as they rebuild their lives after brain injury.

I specialize in the rehabilitation of individuals with all types of acquired brain injury—including concussion, moderate to severe traumatic brain injury, nontraumatic brain injury, and disorders of consciousness. I also offer treatments such as botulinum toxin injections for spasticity, dystonia, and chronic migraine, as well as trigger point injections, nerve blocks for head and neck pain, and intrathecal baclofen pump management.

I believe that recovery is a team effort. I work closely with patients to create personalized, goal-based care plans that reflect what matters most to them. My mission is to improve health, well-being, and quality of life for people with functional limitations—and to help each person move forward with confidence and hope.

I joined MetroHealth in 2018 and serve as an Associate Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. I completed my medical training, residency, and fellowship here at MetroHealth and am board-certified in both Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Brain Injury Medicine.

I am a member of the Center for Stroke and Brain Injury Research at the MetroHealth Rehabilitation Institute. Some of the many areas of interest in this group include non-invasive brain stimulation, Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES), peripheral nerve stimulation, walking after stroke, arm and hand movement, spasticity, and enhanced, immersive environments for TBI recovery.

She's a genius and knew things about my injury that NO one has been able to tell me, and I've been to other "top" providers. She is the BEST of the best.
