About Me
I’m a board-certified ophthalmologist and Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. I’ve been proud to serve patients at MetroHealth since 1999, helping restore vision and improve quality of life for individuals across Northeastern Ohio.
For over 25 years, I’ve focused on surgical care—including cataract surgery, lens implants, and corneal transplantation—as well as treating conditions like ocular surface disease, infections, injuries, and contact lens–related problems. I believe that vision is essential to maintaining independence and staying connected to the things that matter most: work, family, and hobbies.
In addition to caring for patients, I’m deeply committed to teaching and mentoring the next generation of physicians. It’s a privilege to guide students and residents in both clinical and surgical settings, and to be part of a community that values excellence, compassion, and lifelong learning.
My clinical and research interests relate to the eye surface: troubleshooting contact lens problems and infections as well as promoting safe wear and guiding public health and policy on a national level.
