Dr. Jones is a Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the MetroHealth Medical Center and Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) School of Medicine. His research focuses on the use of point-of-care (POCUS) ultrasound in the practice of emergency medicine. Dr. Jones has served as president of ACEP’s ultrasound section and has authored handbooks, textbook chapters, policy statements and research articles on POCUS. He serves as the co-chair of the POCUS committee for The MetroHealth System. In addition, he is an Assistant Dean of Clerkship Education at CWRU for The MetroHealth System as well as a Block 7 section leader for the pre-clerkship students.
