About Me
I’m a board-certified psychiatrist and Associate Professor of Psychiatry at MetroHealth and Case Western Reserve University. I currently serve as Vice Chair of Education and Faculty Development, and I’m proud to lead our Psychiatry Residency Program as Training Director. Teaching and mentoring future psychiatrists is one of the most fulfilling parts of my work.
I completed my psychiatry residency at Case Western Reserve University and went on to specialize in child and adolescent psychiatry through a fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Since joining MetroHealth, I’ve focused on expanding access to mental health care through community psychiatry, integrated care, and workforce development. I’m also deeply committed to cultural psychiatry, advocacy, and supporting the well-being of healthcare providers.
Beyond Cleveland, I’ve had the privilege of serving in leadership roles with the American Psychiatric Association and other national organizations, where I’ve worked to support international medical graduates, advance psychiatric education, and promote inclusive excellence in our field.
Whether I’m working with patients, training residents, or shaping policy, my goal is always the same: to help people live healthier, more fulfilling lives through compassionate, evidence-based mental health care.
