About Me
I am a Nurse Practitioner here at MetroHealth with a focus in obesity medicine.
I graduated with my master's in nursing in 2015 from The University of Akron which h is where I got my Doctor in Nursing in 2022. I worked in primary care for four years while I got my certification in Obesity Medicine through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
From there I came to Metro to join the excellent Obesity Medicine Team and have been here since 2019. I also achieved my MBA in 2024 as I have taken on leadership roles here at Metro as well as my role at The University of Akron.
I have a passion for helping people who suffer from the chronic disease of obesity due to my own struggle with excess weight along with several of my immediate family members personal struggles with obesity. I understand the weight that obesity carries mentally and physically and that it is not a character flaw disease, but rather a metabolic dysfunction.
I strive to look at each individual person as a whole and listen to their story and come up with an individual game plan that will help them be successful.
