Jon Schrock is an active researcher in the area of neurological emergencies, with a specific interest in acute management of cerebral ischemia and stroke as well as cardiovascular emergencies, particularly acute care of heart failure patients. He is the director of our institutions Stroke Program and as the director of our Clinical Decision Unit, is also active in studies involving observation medicine. Dr. Schrock has secured funding through multiple organizations and industry, PCORI, Genentech, Siemens Healthcare, and Cardiorentis, amongst others. He has >45 peer reviewed publications and multiple published abstracts, frequently with mentees. Dr.  Schrock is an active research mentor to residents, medical (>35) and undergraduate students.
