About Me

Joined MetroHealth: 2023
Academic Affiliations: Clinical Associate Professor, Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine

I’m a gastroenterologist at MetroHealth, and I specialize in advanced endoscopic procedures that help patients avoid surgery whenever possible. After completing my fellowship in gastroenterology, I pursued additional training in interventional endoscopy at one of the leading centers in the country—especially focusing on endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), which plays a powerful role in diagnosing and treating complex gastrointestinal conditions, including cancers.

Another key part of my practice is ERCP, a minimally invasive procedure that helps treat problems in the bile ducts and pancreas. These tools allow me to care for some of the sickest patients in ways that are less invasive and often more effective.

I’ve always believed that research and teaching are essential to improving patient care. I spent a year at Harvard Medical School studying clinical research methods, and I now serve as a Clinical Associate Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Teaching the next generation of physicians is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

But what brings me the greatest joy is seeing a patient feel better after a procedure—or witnessing the relief in their loved ones’ eyes. That’s why I became a doctor, and why I’m proud to serve as a dedicated gastroenterologist.

I speak both English and Arabic, and I’m here to support you with compassionate, expert care.
