About Me
I’ve been a pediatrician for over 40 years, and I’m board-certified in the United States, the United Kingdom, and India. My career has taken me across the globe, giving me a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and a broad perspective on caring for children and families.
Since joining MetroHealth in 2001, I’ve been committed to providing compassionate, culturally sensitive care. I speak several languages—including Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, and Urdu—which helps me connect with families from many backgrounds. I also serve as a Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, where I mentor and guide future pediatricians.
My approach to care is rooted in respect, empathy, and lifelong learning. I believe every child deserves thoughtful, personalized attention—and every family deserves to feel supported throughout their healthcare journey.

Parker J. Palmer Courage to Lead Award

Each ACGME-accredited institution has only one DIO, who has complete authority and responsibility for all graduate medical education (GME) programs. This is the highest honor that a DIO can receive nationally. A national committee selects award recipients based on their overall contribution to education.
