At the MetroHealth Center for Advanced Gynecology, we treat a range of symptoms:

Common symptoms like pain, bleeding and urine leakage can be the result of a number of concerns.
In your first visit, your provider will ask about:
- Symptoms
- Medical history
- Sexual history
Sometimes, depending on your symptoms, your provider will perform a physical examination or order specific screenings to help diagnose your issues. Common screenings include:
- Ultrasound
- Urodynamic testing for bladder function
- CT scan
- Urinalysis
If screening shows an issue with your bladder or pelvic floor, you’ll be treated by a specialty doctor called a urogynecologist.
Urogynecologists are experts at treating women who experience pain and urinary issues like leakage, urgency, or uncomfortable bulges.
