The MetroHealth Opportunity Center at Buckeye is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of our community. We offer a variety of services to help you live your healthiest life.
Our Services
We work closely with our partners to engage with the Community at Buckeye, to offer the following events:
- Resource Days
- Monthly Fresh Produce
- Trunk or Treat
- Turkey Drive
- Other special events
Our Staff
We have a lot of great people who are committed to our patients, including:
Student Interns: Student volunteers from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland State University, Cuyahoga Community College and other area universities assist patients and families, providing a direct connection to resources.
These student interns come from community health worker, social work and public health degree programs. They are highly trained interns who have a deep commitment to the mission of the MetroHealth Opportunity Center.
Community Partners: Our community partners are onsite throughout the week to help you connect with a variety of resources such as financial coaching, employment assistance, benefits navigation (Medicaid/SNAP), food, legal support, access to basic needs-transportation, hygiene kits, diapers, and more.
