Insomnia Information
Trouble sleeping? You’re not alone! Insomnia is a common condition in the United States with over three million adult cases (though it is believed that many more people are undiagnosed). Insomnia causes difficulty falling and/or staying asleep.
Getting an appropriate amount of sleep each night (7-9 hours for adults) can increase mood and immune system, lower stress, maintain healthy weight, and reduce diseases caused by inflammation such as diabetes and heart disease. If you are dissatisfied with your sleep habits, it may be beneficial to request an insomnia screening from your provider. Please contact Nicole Dister at (216) 778-8978 or Tracey Brichacek at (216) 778-8745 for a free screening and information on ways to improve your sleep.
