Trauma surgeons specially trained in managing critically injured and medically complex patients lead the multidisciplinary trauma team at MetroHealth.

Trauma surgeons are always on site and are board certified.  The complex needs of trauma patients require extensive resources and many medical specialists and health care staff. The trauma team provides advanced surgery and intensive care — and coordinates rehabilitation and follow-up care.

The MetroHealth Medical Center is NE Ohio's leading Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.
