Important COVID-19 Notice For All Vendors, Contractors, and Educational Affiliates

On August 26, 2021, The MetroHealth System enacted a requirement that all workforce members be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 no later than October 30, 2021.

In furtherance of this policy, MetroHealth is also mandating that all students, vendors, and contractors who enter a MetroHealth facility meet the same requirement.

The supplier diversity strategy at MetroHealth aims to develop a pool of qualified and certified diverse business partners, suppliers and vendors for increased participation in our procurement opportunities.

MetroHealth's desire to attract more diverse business partners, suppliers and vendors follows a three-pronged approach:

• Increase the business partner, supplier and vendor pool to connect qualified diverse owned companies to current bidding opportunities. External matchmaker events, ongoing collaboration with community partners, and targeted meet-and-greet events hosted by MetroHealth all support this effort.
• Promote the growth of business opportunity to current diverse MetroHealth business partners, suppliers and vendors.
• Promote inclusive sub-contracting on MetroHealth’s construction projects using Community Benefits Agreements and our construction Mentor/Protégé Programs.
