August 15 Construction Project to Impact Main Campus Traffic

A construction project initiated by the Ohio Department of Transportation will have a major impact on the flow of traffic out of the MetroHealth Main Campus. 

Timing: Tuesday, August 15, 2023 - October 2023

Visitors driving to MetroHealth using Valentine Avenue will only be able to travel westbound toward Scranton Road. Visitors will not be able to access 176-S and 71-S from Valentine. 

Drivers who need to access 176-S and 71-S will need to take alternate routes (see the map below).

Options include:

• Take Scranton Road north, turn right on Clark Avenue then turn right on West 14th to access 71-S via the roundabout.
• 71-S can be accessed via West 25th Street.
• 176-S can be accessed via Denison Avenue.

We strongly advise familiarizing yourself with this new route in advance of your visit.

The entire project is expected to be completed by the end of October 2023.
