Deborah Southerington

Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer

Southerington oversees the full spectrum of human resources functions for MetroHealth’s employees.

Southerington joined MetroHealth in 2018 as Vice President, Human Resources. Prior to that, she worked as the Vice President of Human Resources at the Council for Economic Opportunities in Greater Cleveland (now known as Step Forward) and Director of Human Resources for the City of Cleveland.

Southerington received a bachelor’s degree from Kent State University.
